The loss of these popular traditions is regrettable, as they are part of the identity and culture of a community and are an important way to preserve and transmit history and customs from generation to generation.

For this reason, we have made this mold that you can use for cookies, plasticine or clay, and thus give voice to this history of Catalan culture among the little ones.

La Vella Quaresma is a traditional character from Catalan folklore who represents the period of Lent. She is described as an old, thin and ugly woman who goes through the streets with a basket, asking people for food or money.

The Vella Quaresma with seven legs is a symbolic way of representing the importance of the seven Sundays of Lent and the need to embrace penance and virtue during this period of reflection and renunciation in the Christian religion.
